If you do not own a FTP program to upload files, you can access your FTP through the internet. There are two ways to do this. I hope these help!
Method 1
Note: This method only works with Windows operating systems.
- Open up Windows Explorer, not Internet Explorer. Basically, open up "My Documents" or "My Computer" or something like that.
- Copy (Ctrl + C) and paste (Ctrl + V) the following onto the address bar: ftp://username:password@ftpserver
- Replace "username" with your username/login, "password" with your password, and "ftpserver" with your ftp server and hit enter.
- Now, you should see all your folders and files.
- To upload files, you simply open up the folder with all your files and drag it from that window to the other.
Method 2
- If you like File Managers like the ones on free servers (Ex: Freewebs), then this method would be better for you. Simply go to this site.
- Once you are there, just fill out the required information and login.
- Now you can treat it just like any other File Manager!
